Coming close on the heels of the recent video release for “Part of Me,” Canadian rock royalty the Headstones, treated their fans this week to another little teaser for track “Dark Side Of The Doomed,” from their newest critically acclaimed album “Peopleskills.”
Not only are the band releasing videos it seems for all the tracks off the album, but it was also announced that for the first time the fans long awaited request for full-length LP vinyl had finally been granted, with a release date coming for March 27th, it will also feature the added bonus track of the band’s cover of the Gordon Lightfoot classic ‘Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald,’ which was missing from the original download and CD version.
The JUNO Award announcements were made on January 28th with ‘Peopleskills’ being nominated for ‘Rock Album of the Year,’ and on Sunday March 15th the band will find out if third time really is a charm.
It’s shaping up to be a very busy summer for the band, and lead singer Hugh Dillon in general, with not only the announcement of a cross country tour starting in Penticton, BC, June 26 and finishing in St. John’s, NL July 30th, but Dillon also having to executive produce his new, straight to series show ‘The Mayor of Kingstown,’ along with co-creator Taylor Sheridan.
